Analisa dan Rekomendasi User Interface Website Berita Menggunakan Metode User Centered Design (UCD)

Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang berkembang begitu pesat sehingga terdapat tuntutan terhadap kemudahan akses informasi disajikan secara cepat (real-time), dalam hal ini website berita memegang peranan penting karena menjadi salah satu media massa menyebarluaskan tersebut. Namun pembaca belum merasa nyaman untuk membaca melalui tampilan antarmuka (user interface) web terlalu padat membuat pengguna lebih jenuh ketika kesulitan fokus mendapatkan informasi. Penelitian berusaha memberikan rekomendasi user interface dengan pilihan topik akan memilih tersebut sesuai minatnya, dapat kebutuhannya. Metode digunakan pada penelitian adalah centered design (UCD) berfokus kebutuhan desain dibuat disesuaikan berita. Untuk menguji usability telah dilakukan penyebaran kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS), skor rata-rata SUS meningkat dari 72,37 hingga 79,63 setelah dua kali iterasi proses UCD. Berdasarkan termasuk acceptable atau diterima oleh dikategorikan sebagai baik.
